Mission Statement:

The mission of the Communications and Information Systems Department is to provide the City of Midland with reliable and sustainable technical services and innovative solutions that bring value to the organization, and enhance business processes and effectiveness for all City departments. 


Guiding Principles:
-The City's Governance Team and the IT department will use a formal, collaborative process to review, approve, and prioritize all major investment in information technology, systems, and applications
-The IT department will provide technology guidance to City departments and establish enterprise standards on the use of technology.
-The IT department will support the business needs of the City departments.
